About
Tomas Fransson (Frasse j:r)
Born in Stockholm in 1963. Father Olle (Frasse senior) was an artist. After Olle’s death in 1980, Tomas started painting and, like his father, is self-taught. Nowadays, he mostly works in acrylic but has previously worked in oil, watercolor, and wood. His style ranges from naive to realistic with surrealistic elements. Portraits and caricatures are other themes. His sources of inspiration include his father Olle, Salvador Dalí, and Henri Rousseau. Tomas paints as often as he can (he is otherwise a high school teacher) and lets his imagination flow, but also takes commissions.
